Barrel Racer Sponsorship Agreement

The Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP Youth Barrel Racer Sponsorship Program aims to foster the development of talented and dedicated young riders while promoting ethical horsemanship within the broader equine community. By providing free standard horseshoeing services for a period of up to 12 months (Or the 31st day of December of the year in which the sponsorship was awarded), the program not only supports the financial aspects of horse care, but also emphasizes the importance of responsible horsemanship. This initiative seeks to empower young riders between the ages of 10 and 18, encouraging them to maintain academic excellence, moral values, and a commitment to Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP's core principles. Through this sponsorship, individuals gain valuable experience, equine care support, and a platform to showcase their skills, contributing to the overall growth and positive influence within the horse community. The program's dual focus on the individual and the broader community reflects Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP's commitment to nurturing the next generation of equestrians while upholding standards of excellence in equine well-being. We honor a limited number of sponsorships per year. 

 

Applicant Eligibility:

1. The applicant must participate in barrel racing events at least twice a month.

2. The applicant must maintain a school grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or greater.

3. The applicant must demonstrate moral and ethical values.

4. The applicant must be between the ages of 10 and 18 as of January 1.

5. Applications must be submitted no later than December 31 for the following year.

Sponsorship Payout (Value $560):

The sponsored individual will receive free standard horseshoeing services for a single horse of their choice every 8 weeks beginning 1 April expiring 1 October of that calendar year. All participants are responsible for transporting their horse to Rafter S Arena to receive said services unless the household was previously scheduled for house calls prior to the sponsorship agreement. All services will be scheduled with Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP Farrier Services.  This sponsorship is no transferrable.

These values collectively form the ethical framework of Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP, reflecting the ranch's commitment to fostering a positive and principled environment.

 

Forfeiture of Sponsorship:

Any participant failing to meet or maintain the eligibility criteria or breaching the moral and ethical framework of Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP during the sponsored period will forfeit their sponsorship.

 

Social Media Requirements:

Participants are required to maintain an active social media presence during the sponsorship period. They must tag the following accounts in their horse related posts:

2. Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP Horse Training

 

Posts should be made a minimum of once a week and must reflect the values and ethics of Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP while encouraging their audience to follow the Facebook pages of Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP Farrier Services and Rocking Speer Ranch, LLP Horse Training.
