Our 5-Day Horse Training Clinic is designed for the serious rider looking to sharpen their skills, elevate their horsemanship, and push past plateaus with purpose. Whether you're tuning up a seasoned mount or developing a young horse’s potential, this clinic is about one thing: progress. Joshua Speer, Lyons Legacy Certified Trainer and founder of Rocking Speer Ranch, has a knack for helping horse-and-rider teams unlock better performance through body control, mindset, and mechanics. When you commit to five days with us, you're not just riding — you're transforming. Expect long days, full notepads, and wet saddle blankets. You’ll gain practical skills you can take home and apply immediately. From the ground to the saddle, every exercise is intentional, every conversation educational, and every breakthrough earned. Josh teaches with clarity, grit, and a deep respect for both horse and rider. You bring the work ethic, and he’ll meet you there — mile for mile, rep for rep. Clinic Details: • Format: Hands-on learning, minimal classroom time, maximum saddle time • Focus: Rider position, body control, timing, pressure and release, problem-solving, transitions, softness, collection, and performance readiness • Environment: Zero judgment. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: At Rocking Speer Ranch, we value your commitment to equine education and understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following cancellation and rescheduling policy: Cancellation with Option to Reschedule: Participants are welcome to cancel their attendance with an option to reschedule provided the cancellation is made 72 hours or more prior to the scheduled event. Refund Details: If a participant chooses to cancel with in 24-hours of booking they will receive a 75% refund, standard refund is 50% of the balance per rider, and within the 72-hour window preceding the event, a partial refund of 25% will be issued. The 25% refund is designed to accommodate for incurred expenses related to the current class in which the participant was originally scheduled. No shows and late attendance; no refunds. Application of Refund: The refunded amount of 25% will be applied towards a future clinic hosted by Rocking Speer Ranch. This credit is transferable and can be utilized by the participant or transferred to another individual attending a clinic. Rescheduling Process: Participants wishing to reschedule must communicate their intent at least 72 hours before the initially scheduled event. Rescheduled dates are subject to availability and must occur within a year from the date of the originally scheduled clinic. Failure to reschedule within a year will result in a forfeiture of monies by the participant. Exceptional Circumstances: In the case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, Rocking Speer Ranch will assess each situation on an individual basis to determine the most suitable resolution. How to Request a Cancellation or Rescheduling: Participants can initiate the cancellation or rescheduling process by contacting our Lead Trainer, Teresa Speer, at least 72 hours before the scheduled event. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation and rescheduling policy. Our aim is to maintain the integrity of our clinics while providing flexibility for our valued participants.
