3-Day Clinic
National
Service Description
Rider Level: Beginner to Advanced Horse Level: Green Broke to Advanced 3-Day Riding Clinic – Rocking Speer Ranch During the course of this 3-day riding clinic, both horse and rider will develop foundational skills, control, and confidence through lessons and principles taught at Rocking Speer Ranch. Riders will first and foremost learn to effectively control their horse. Whether you’ve been horseback for years or haven’t ridden in a while, every rider shares the same goal: to improve the level of control and communication with their horse. At Rocking Speer Ranch, we help you reach that goal and take your horsemanship to the next level — one ride at a time. Each clinic is small and hands-on, allowing us to work with every student and horse at a level they can comprehend. Teresa Speer, a certified and accredited Lyons Legacy trainer, will guide riders through a progression of exercises tailored to their goals, and she works hard to ensure you leave with both knowledge and results. We do ask that you can safely ride your horse in a group of other horses. You can expect topics such as: • Bridle work • Hip control • Transitions and speed regulation • Diagonal movement • Collection and soft feel • Teaching tricks • Reining foundation (spins, stops, rollbacks) • Problem solving and rider awareness This 3-day format allows for slower instruction, deeper learning, and more time in the saddle. Riders gain better understanding, stronger partnerships with their horses, and practical tools to take home and apply. Cost: 🟢 $625 per horse & rider (3 full days of training) 🟣 $25/day for auditors (or $60 for all 3 days) We ask that riders are comfortable working their horses in a group setting. No matter your discipline or background, if your goal is better control and a more responsive horse, this clinic is for you. 📞 Book your spot today — limited spaces to ensure hands-on coaching.
