2 - Day Basic Hoof-Care Course
Owner Level: First Time Owner to Advanced

Our 14 - Hour Farrier Basic Clinic, spread over 2 days with a total of 14 hours of immersive training.
On Day 1, the first 4 hours will be dedicated to a detailed breakdown of Farrier Hoof-care. This includes 2 hours on anatomy and biomechanics, 1 hour on common hoof ailments, and another hour on equine safe handling, followed by a 1-hour lunch break. The afternoon session on Day 1 will provide a focused 2-hour breakdown on ground work.
Moving to Day 2, participants will engage in a 4-hour block for basic trimming practical application, working with (1) cadaver synthetic hoof per trainee (Additional available at $60). After a 1-hour lunch break, a practical application session for ground work will follow. The clinic will conclude with a 1-hour close-out Q&A session, ensuring participants leave with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in essential farrier skills.
